Covid 19 Safety

As we welcome you back to The Eight, we want you to know that safety is our first priority. That’s why we’ve developed our COVIDSafe Plan to allow you to enjoy your visit with total peace of mind.

Your Wellbeing

We ask you to follow the new safety measures that have been put in place to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained.

All new measures are in accordance with the government mandated requirements. While we are excited to welcome you back, if you are unwell, please stay home. You may be denied entry if you are showing visible signs of COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.

Hygiene & Cleanliness

For now, the The Eight will be open  Lunch 10:00am - 3:30pm , Dinner 5:00pm-11:00pm daily.

This is to allow for a comprehensive cleaning regime every day, along with regular cleaning of frequently used areas. You’ll be asked to sanitise your hands before entering. Hand sanitising stations and wipes have been placed in high traffic areas for your convenience.

Physical Distancing

We’ve implemented measures to help maintain safe physical distance at all times. For social distancing, we’ve made some changes to the way you dine.

For social distancing, we’ve made some changes, dividing the main area into sections. Seating at table will be limited to 1.5 hours. Please also be aware that at peak times, access to certain areas may be restricted due to capacity guidelines.

Record Keeping

Guests  will need to be checking in using QR Code prior to entering our restaurants. Records of guests will also be kept at the point of booking. This is in line with government requirements to ensure contact tracing if required.

Under the anticipated directives of the NSW Government Public Health Order, up until the 30th November 2021, all guests dining will be required to show proof of double vaccination upon arrival in order to dine at The Eight.
